Is it safe to order furniture from House of Fraser ?

There are some VERY good deals on furniture at House of Fraser.

But with everything that's going on in the news in the last couple of days, is it safe to order, say, sofa's from there which may take a few weeks to arrive?

I will pay on credit card for added safety.

But what if they go belly-up before my goods arrive?

Seems to be the modern method of renegotiation on rents and debts. Announce possible store closures , hold stick of empty unit versus reduced rent over landlords

I read that - but how would that affect ordering furniture from the current goods on offer please?

Use a credit card for orders of at least £100, or debit card if under that and you've then got some comeback if things go pear shaped.
