Help please

I have an old credit card debt. Well over 6 years. It got transferred to Capquest (I think) and they put an inhibition on me. The first one was around 2011 they then renewed it in July 2016.
I have had no corresponded with them at all. The debt is no longer on my credit score.
I’m considering remortgaging, but understand I can’t if I have an inhibition.
I cannot afford to pay of this debt - I have no idea how much it is was probably around £4,000 in 2011.
What should I do?

If you don't dispute that you owe this debt, then perhaps contact Capquest and make an offer that you can afford and ask them to remove the inhibition. Mind you, they're not called 'crapquest' for nothing on here.
I used to think that good grammar is important, but now I know that good wine is importanter.
