Forgive this 'non-coffee' expert!!! THANKS for any help/advice!!XX
Apparently, there's a 'coffee traders' way of drinking filter coffee - you put a dessertspoonful of the coffee into the bottom of a mug, pour boiling water on, leave it to brew, then drink (you have to leave the last bit of the coffee, unless you want to drink the grounds
). Or I've had ground coffee served in an earthenware jug (with a spoon for stirring). Again, just put the coffee in a heatproof jug, leave to brew, stir if you want, and pour into your cup / mug. HTH. I love proper coffee - can you tell?
