Work from home data entry jobs

Are there any decent paying (atleast £500/- per mth) opportunities to work from home? Not paid to click/ surveys/selling but data entry jobs which can be done entirely from home. There are too many jobs which show up on a search, so very difficult to know which are genuine, pay well and not a scam.

Try Appen. I applied and did all the social media evaluator reading and applications, then they rejected me without score feedback, so I threw the toys out of the pram and haven!!!8217;t been back to apply for further work with them. Lots of people have said that much of the Appen work is easy money, so perhaps I!!!8217;m just a weapon!!!8217;s grade cretin. They do dictation and typing work I!!!8217;m sure.0

Unfortunately not many jobs like that exist now. If companies want cheap data entry then they can always find contractors in India who will do it for less than whatever you are willing to work for.0

There are some data entry type jobs that can be done from home and pay well...but there's no secret repository of them. They are just data entry jobs, with the same recruitment process as any other jobs, working for a single employer, and subject to the same recruitment processes and competition as any other jobs. There certainly aren't any that are crying out for people to do them; probably quite the reverse.0

There's a company (can't remember what it's called) that requires you to type up meetings. You have to be a fast typist. I'm a good typist, but could only just pass the test. Four-six hours of that day would be hell on earth unless you are v.good.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

I work for Appen, the role I do is around £11 an hour (they pay in US dollars so rate varies depending on the exchange rate) and the reality is the work they give only takes about half as long to do once you get experienced, so the hourly rate is over £20 so pretty good. Drawback is you can only do an hour a day max.
Also look at Arise, you can work from home and do more hours but pay rate is only just over minimum wage.Make £2018 in 2018 Challenge - Total to date £2,1080 -
£500 a month working from home...how many hours were you thinking you'd have to work to earn that? There are precious few such opportunities unless you already work for a firm and they agree to let you work from home.
Forget data entry - the use of random outworkers has never been as prevalent as the myths would have you believe, and will become even rare once GDPR kicks in later this month.

My wife has luckily landed a job trial as a customer accounts manager working from home for £10 per hour (freelance) and should be offered upwards of 20 hours a week within the next month if all goes well.
These jobs do exist, though as above probably not in data entry, but not easy to find, and lots of people want them so you need to stand out in some way. We were very lucky as this came through a friend of a friend. I suggest considering looking into virtual PA or virtual reception jobs, perhaps. You can also sometimes find in/out-bound telesales type jobs sometimes; usually commission based.Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.- Mark TwainArguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.0
