First Direct Mortgage App

Does anyone have a First Direct mortgage and current account.
I’m wondering if we can sweep extra money off the mortgage balance using their app from our FD current account.
Thanks.

As no responses I'd suggest calling FD. They are known to be very good over the phone0

The mortgage account and balance shows in the app and you can manually make payments to the mortgage at any time, which show instantly.
You can't use their automated sweep function to move money in the same way you can with their savings accounts.
HTH.Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right!

Yes that's what I meant. You just make a payment to it as a bill payment in the same manner as you do for all other payments. Many thanks, I take it you mean you can manually make the payments through the app?Whilst my posts do not constitute financial advice, I am always, without fail, 100% right!
