What do I do after getting my bankruptcy order?

Hi all,
Just wondered if anyone can advise me on my next steps...
So I applied for bankruptcy yesterday after 5 horrific years of mounting debt and one life disaster after another. I then received my approval and bankruptcy order via email this morning! I understand that I can now open a basic bank account online with nationwide and move my wages and direct debits over and then have to wait for contact from the official receiver. However with regards to my creditors (loan and credit card companies) what do I do? Do I call hem and inform them of the situation? Send them a copy of my bankruptcy order? Or ignore thier calls and do nothing until speaking with the official receiver?
Any advise would be greatly received xx

Hi yes get your bank account sorted and all your D.D set up etc.
The O.R will notify your creditors of your B.R usually within 8 weeks if you get any calls in the meantime quote them your B.R no and that will suffice.

Hi - Once you have sorted your banks accounts and stuff then the next thing is...plan your financial future :) Work out how you are going to budget debt free - how you will avoid ever being in this situation again - and relax :T

Have a copy of the BR ready for each creditor and post it to them ASAP, they wont come looking for you

You do nothing. If they contact you your response is:

"I was declared bankrupt on XXX date. My case number is XXXX. These are the official receivers contact details, please contact them in future regarding this debt as I cannot and legally am not allowed to deal with it any longer under UK bankruptcy laws."

I applied for my BR on 13th April and was approved on 16th April had my Interview end of that week and never heard anything since. I was told they will contact me if they need to, if I hear nothing then I can assume I don't need to pay anything. I even got told in my interview I can earn overtime about an extra £250 a month without even telling them! It was all very strange but now that it's done I'm much more relaxed and actually enjoy what I do with my money now as I appreciate it much more. Enjoy your life, plan and look forward to your discharge date, that's exactly what I'm doing now! :-)
