Sebaceous cyst removal-privately

Hi,
I am looking to get a small sebaceous cyst removed privately. NHS is a no go this time round. I had one removed on the NHS 5 years ago. The NHS surgeon didn't remove all of the cyst the first time round and it grew back, and so he had a second go at it to get it all out.
Say, after private surgery the cyst grows back. What are the general rules about a second attempt and so forth? I am going to ask the surgeon this question during the consultations I have coming up, but what is the general approach. If he says, he will re do it for free, do I have to just go by his word? Is it a sort of thing I need to get it writing and signed off before going forward.
Thanks for the replies. Not done this before, so looking to get some idea

Skin cysts can grow back. It's a recognised risk - so no surgeon will 'guarantee' against something that is reasonably likely to happen anyway. How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
I wouldn't rely on going private to get better treatment.
I had a lipoma removed from my leg privately, they left some behind and it came back within a year, I had to go to the NHS to have it removed properly.
And no, if it grows back you don't get a second go for free as it won't have been guaranteed not to grow back, if you want it done again you pay again.Accept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0 -
Fascinating post. Maybe the OP can explain how the surgeon's operating technique is going to be different depending on who pays the bill. Do surgical textbooks have different techniques depending on who pays the final bill?
Edit - just spotted it was a newbie. Probably posted as a joke.0 -

Clearly not a very professional one!
What did you make of the rules for commercial posting/soliciting/off-board contact that you clearly agreed to?0
