Hi everyone
Need some advice please.
My parents took out a mortgage about 10 years ago under the right to buy, I have been helping them pay the mortgage from the start.
Sadly we lost my dad a few years after and now my mothers health isn’t too good.
I’m not on any paperwork and the transactions helping them out were cash so I cannot prove payments made and now where both worried about what will happen with the house if my mother health deteriorates any more.
Is there anything we can do to prevent the government claiming there house if she goes into a home?
Thanks
Mark
