my partner was declared bankrupt last year and in the past few months his mortgage repayments have shot up by £70 per month is there any way he can remortgage

he is self-employed but makes approx £500 per week
he bought it for £68,000
house value is now £90,000 approx.
mortgage is £499 per month the lender is GE finance
the debt is the bankruptcy which he pays £212 per month still has 2 years of this to pay0
