Help with train refund please.

Hi again discat11. Thank you for all your replies. It is much appreciated.
Well I have emailed them again and they say they are still investigating and thanks for my patience. I have asked them several times about whether they have listened to the recording as the guy clearly said I would get a refund within 24-72 hours. Now even ignoring the single ticket that I bought. I still paid for a return but wasn't able to use the 'return' part as I didn't have the physical ticket so I do feel I should be given a one way ticket so I will ask them for that next after they reply me with the outcome of their investigations.0 -
I missed your last replies. Now you've explained what happened I think you've a reasonable expectation that they should provide you with an off peak single to cover your return journey.
There's a forum called railforums.co.uk which has experts there who might be able to help you out getting the complaint to the right people worded in the right way.0 -
