Close to completion??

Options
So anyway i made a post a few weeks ago about family buying me out of a inherited house on my husbands side,
On the 11th of April my sister in law was accepted for her mortgage and was told money is ready to be released :j i was just wondering what are the next steps that needs to be done?
The house is shared between 4 and we are all with same solicitor (hoping things will move quicker) I haven't received any paperwork through from solicitor to state that her mortgage has been accepted (my sister in law informed me) but when i phoned my solicitor on friday they explained that i need to go in to sign paperwork (they could have phoned me) what paperwork do i need to sign? And really i was just wondering if we are by any chance close to completion?
Sorry if the thread is a bit here there and every where, I'm just not really good with mortgages and don't understand what else needs to be done !!!128584;

    Wouldn't happen on the same day. Your SIL's solicitor will need to perform due diligence on the property before proceeding to completion.
  • And roughly how long will that take? Because i'm a bit confused, if the solicitors aren't ready with everything then what am I going in to sign for? Sorry if i sound a nightmare, it's just the house has been up for sale since 2012, the one sister wanted to buy it February 2017 and after months of chasing her she decided to pull out and now the other sister has had everything accepted so I'm just worried that things won't go to plan

    Like I said on your other thread, you really need to be asking your solicitor (and/or your SiL) these questions, as we'd only be guessing at the specifics of your case.
