Good day,
I’m currently serving in the Royal Navy, for a while now I’ve had the intention of getting into the property ladder renting out (as I’m rarely home),
I’d like some advise on what’s best for me and my best options if possible?!
Currently have savings approx £10-15k,
FHTB offer 50% of salary; approx 10k,
Currently have approx 2.5k in HTB ISA,
Currently earning approx 20k,
Never owned a property,
Relative gaurentor provided offering 70k mortgage,
With the above circumstances what’s the best options , with the current idea of purchasing roughly a 170k house and renting it out/paying mortgage as fast as possible, aware that it’ll probably be much more complicated.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

So where do you want to live ?
What kind of property ?
Freehold better than leasehold
House better than flat
You want to buy something you will want to live in but will also rent out easily.
Broker time to see if possible0 -
Portsmouth (south region)
Best property to rent
Thankyou for the other advise !0
