    I see you are taking a punt on BT, why not Voda instead, which is a telecom company, rather than buy a pension fund which dabbles in telecom as a sideline ?

  • AnotherJoe. MARS is a recent addition which I have previously held and taken profits on however this is now one to hold long term. You are correct on the BT front and the five year share price chart should send shivers down my spine! Vodafone is also on my watchlist and maybe I will add them to my portfolio before any further BT.A purchases. I'm a little OCD on the units held (1000, 1250, 2,500, 7,500 etcetera) not entirely rational behaviour so I'll tidy that up along the way.

    In the era of the DOT com boom where over £20. There again IBM had a larger market capitalisation than Apple back then. Companies start as dust, grow, then return to dust.
