Starting to get quotes for a roof PV.
I have heard about individual panel optimisers, is the extra expense worth it in the long run?
Also thinking of immersion heater option

Hiya, do you have any shading issues? If not then they might not be worth it for you.
You can get micro inverters where you have one per panel, or per two panels, and there's also the SolarEdge system that has a power optimiser on each panel, which then send the power to a single large inverter.
Well worth considering if you have lots of shading, multi pitch/orientations, mixed panels etc etc..Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
