Argos transfer items to your local store.

HI
This isn't a bargain , but I thought that maybe someone on this board could help me. I am sure that someone has said that you can transfer stock from one store to another. HAs anyone done this and how do they do it?

  • We're not supposed to do this willy nilly, there has to be a decent reason for doing so. It takes up to 2 weeks and isn't cost effective for the company.

I want it, is that not a decent reason enough? :rotfl:

Argos sells things to people who use them for a few weeks, then take them back and Argos sells these to customers who'll invariably want to reject them and expect an unused product. That's not cost effective for Argos surely?!

no it isnt, which is why returns policies become more stringent, making life awkward for genuine customers.
