AAT : Any good?

So at college I did business management, I am finishing my business management degree in July (fingers crossed) and working in sales currently which I hate.

I have just signed up to an AAT course, level 2 to start with and hope to progress through the level 3 and 4 however every job advert says experience required or knowledge of Sage. So I looked and I can pay for Sage training - Would it be advisable to do this in order to have the experience to apply for jobs?
I have 4 children so have always worked around them and now I want a proper career and I am willing to get on - I just hope employers can see that.
