Had a look at these at the weekend including the grundig one I think they are all the same but with different brand names. However I have had 2 combi tvs old style and the dvd/video bit doesn,t seem to last, but like the fact that they take up less space in bedroom/playroom. But then saying that they have been used by the kids!!!0

thanks Rev229, which was your preference ?0

I`m also looking, but haven`t decided yet. What I have noticed is that John Lewis give a free 5 year guarantee with their TV`s and the others charge a fortune for cover.0

I just ordered this at the weekend when dixons had it's 10% sale:
LG 19LS4D
Frankly, it's spec's are so much better than those cheap supermarket branded ones it's not even worth considering them:
Brightness - 300 cd/m2
Contrast - 3000
HD ready
Freeview built in
With the 10% off and only 5 quid delivery, it cost £241
I'd never get an integrated DVD/TV - a DVD has mechanical parts and could break - you don't want to replace the lot if just one feature breaks. Also, you might want to upgrade the DVD player to blueray / HD one day0
