Ok so they are just expensive, not really expensive.0

Which one of the Mr Men is always late for work?

With regards to our ongoing advice service, we charge 1% of funds up to £500,000 and 0.5% of all funds over £500,000.
We believe our fees reflect our service standards. In addition to the standard annual reviews, we contact our clients monthly in regards to their investments, bi- annually for retirement planning reviews and annually for end of tax year planning.
We apologise for any confusion caused, if you require any more information please do not hesitate to contact us"
As those of us who have achieved at least a Key Stage 4 level of literacy can attest, the correct phrase is 'in regard to'. Is the author currently wearing school uniform? If so, I guess I could award a couple of points for effort as s/he made two reasonable attempts.
Are Reeves's investment managers equally numerate? (rhetorical question).
'Miss Taken'? 'Miss Guided'?0 -
I prefer simpler English myself. In the example above, 'With regards to' = 'for' and 'in regards to' = 'about'0

Can anyone recommend a decent DB to DC transfer provider who will work on an insistant client basis please?...I've been advised (and paid for that advice) to leave mine in DB because of guarantees but I'm not in great health and have no spouse or dependants so I want to be able to leave benefits to my adult son upon my death.0

You might get better results with a new post rather than tagging on the end of someone else's post about something else
Also, Look for posts by DairyQueen, IIRC she has done this and posted about it recently.0 -

The DB scheme will require evidence that you have received advice from a suitably qualified person, not that you have followed that advice. You'd done that and your adviser should be prepared to certify to say they have given advice etc etc.
A stakeholder pension will accept the transfer in, so why do you need to be an insistent client? Transfer to that and then if necessary on to your preferred choice, be it a SIPP or whatever. The transfer from the stakeholder will be DC to DC, so no advice needed.0 -

In the current climate you will have few options. AJ Bell may consider it. They accept DB transfers but I'm not sure if they still accept insistent clients.
Are you absolutely sure that transferring is the correct option for you? It is not in the best interest of most people for the reasons that I'm sure your IFA has explained. Safeguarding your retirement income is far more important than leaving an inheritance.0 -

Hasn't post 18 given the necessary information, if the poster is intent on transferring come what may?0
