LG Pension Scheme query

"au fait"?:)
Does happen sometimes. To be fair, didn't your relative query his lack of pension contributions? This should be the case but young relative found after eight months(!) that an error had led to his contributions not being made to the scheme....He was also attempting to transfer in an NHS pension....... after more than a year this had still not been effected....and he has now moved on to LG in another area and is now waiting for both schemes to transfer in.....
I'm glad I'm retired. All the changes - since 2014 in particular - have increased the work load beyond all recognition, yet staffing levels have only been increased by 10%. I understand from my ex colleagues that their backlog of work has reached frightening proportions, so they concentrate on the urgent cases - ie people retiring. Transfers between Local Authorities for someone some way from retirement are very much low priority cases. No, it's not a good situation to be in - but they don't have magic wands to wave.0 -
Thanks for all the posts..if I get the job I'll get straight onto it.0
