Does anyone use Slimming World receipes? Not necessarily to lose weight but just to eat healthy?
My friend and my sister in law cook these meals and they look and taste lovely as I have tried some myself but the amount of ingredients you need to buy just puts me off.
I really want to up my game when it comes to eating healthier, without spending loads of time and buying loads of ingredients in doing so.

My friend at work goes to Slimming World classes and has had success with the classes and has bought the meals.
I've never dieted myself but she says they are acceptable within the Slimming World rules so I can only assume they are not "that bad" for you.
She says that Iceland often have offers on if you have a shop near you.0 -
Are you talking about recipes or the ready meals?
I followed SW many years ago and found it pretty easy to adapt my own recipes to SW, e.g. doing a lasagne/moussaka topping based on cottage cheese instead of bechamel.
But you can eat healthily without following SW recipes.0 -
I mean the receipes, not the ready meals. Although I do like ready meals I once tried a SW one and it was awful.0

Look for a decent 'healthy eating' style cookbook. It doesn't have to be SW.
But I think from your other threads, you're not that keen on cooking, so you should ask yourself 'if I buy this book - and all the ingredients - will I use it?'.0 -
Join us on the health board. We have lots of on the 1st post and a challenge too.0

I can't find the health board. Could you give me a link please. Thankyou .0

There's a website called "pinch of nom" that has a lot of decent slimming world friendly recipes. You're right about the sw ready meals though. I've tried 3 just out of interest. There was nothing that would lead me to try the rest of their range.0

I use to go to slimming world and loved some of the recipees but the ready meals are awful. They are so spicy and to me unfortunately all taste the same. Thanks for the website.0

It's called "slimming into spring" and is in the money saving health and beauty board. I can't do a link as I'm on my iPad and I don't know how.
Can anyone else help?
I'd also recommend pinch of nom and two chubby cubs- fabulous food but text might be a bit racy for some so be prepared.0 -
