Leftover Red Wine

Hello all
I had some guests staying over at the weekend and I have been left with a fairly expensive bottle of red wine. It’s open with about one glass out of it and I am wondering what to do with the rest of it. I don’t like to drink the stuff, but I have used it in cooking before. Has anyone ever frozen it before or do you have any other ideas what I can do with it??
Thanks in advance! I’m sure I have come to the right place for advice!

Freeze it in ice cube trays and then bag them up when frozen to save space. The best portion of your life will be the small, nameless moments you spend smiling with someone who matters to you.0

Make a sauce with the red wine and freeze that?0

I've never heard of leftover wine before.
How on earth does that happen?0 -
No, I've never had that problem either
However, you can certainly freeze it, then just defrost whenever you want it to use in a casserole or something similar.

Prince charles has a car that has been converted to run on left over wine apparently!
Left over wine is not a thing at chez sillyvixen, we will not be converting our cars any time soon.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0 -
There is no such thing as left over wine in BoP's house, BoPsie finishes what she starts!0

Send it here ! I'm not too proud to drink somebody else's left over quality red wine!
Seriously, freeze it or use the rest of the bottle making up some batch recipes for the freezer - a luxury beef caserole, coq au vin. Or cook some nice fresh pears in a red wine sauce.0 -
