Cutting straight to chase, what's the best way of doing Prince 2, ITIL or Agile?
Buy the books and learn it yourself or get in the classroom?

Do a 5 day Prince 2 foundation + Practitioner course.
My company paid for mine approx £1800 inc exams and book. Done mine with QA. First time just done foundation and failed on 2 marks  decided to do foundation and practitioner together after and made more sense to me.
I've also done Agile PM foundation.
I would suggest going to classroom. Its a lot to take in. Trainers are really good at guiding what the popular test questions are for that quarter so focus more on that instead of having to read the huge book in 4 days.0 -
+1 for classroom learning. It's just easier to apply yourself to learning the material away from work and home.
ITIL isn't a project management qualification, it's a qualification in Service Management.
I'd recommend steering clear of Prince 2 now unless you are applying for jobs where it is specifically required. Agile is the flavour of the day for Project Management, so I would aim to get your qualification in Agile. The comments I post are my personal opinion. While I try to check everything is correct before posting, I can and do make mistakes, so always try to check official information sources before relying on my posts.0 -
Thanks both! Can I ask, are you both actively using the qual in your working lives? Looking at QA as a provider, which particular flavour of Agile should I be looking at?0
