Jobseekers Allowance Run Out

Hi I have been receiving the basic Jobseekers allowance which has now run out. Can anyone confirm when I will be entitled to receive the basic Jobseekers allowance assuming I do not get employment? Do I have to wait until a new financial year? If I do get employment but it is only for a few months can I then claim the basic Jobseekers allowance?

Have you been claiming contributions based JSA? If so you'll now need to apply for income based JSA, which will take into account your household income and capital.0

Depending on where you live, you may have to claim Universal Credit rather than JSA. If you google "turn2us", it has a benefit check page that will give you an idea as to what you can claim.0
