    you need legal advice and potentially may have to force a sale as he may not be able to afford the mortgage by himself.


    Your scenario is definitely not mis sold

    That is no excuse at all.

    Harsh as it may seem, you went along and just signed up for something you didn't understand. That is not mis-selling.

    Are you living in the house in question, or is your ex-husband?

    If he is, maybe just stop paying the mortgage. If he works and you don't, the mortgage people are far more likely to pursue him than you.

    He cannot just come off the mortgage. YOU have to remove him by remortgaging.

    Awesome advice there.

    Why would a court produce an order that the ex is to be removed from a mortgage on the house they live in.

    My original question was asking if I was Mis sold, I now know the answer is no so that is all I needed to know.
