The Brighter Homes Facebook competition...?
The one where they announced non-winners who they'd drawn, but didn't like the page along with the winner.
(I'm sure we've all experienced FB randomly unliking pages. I've had ones where the page has asked me to like them when I already do, but it doesn't show their end.)
I was following it as the winner had posted with a photo proving she had shared and liked some days before the end. However, she was getting nowhere with the person monitoring their social media yesterday.
Shambolic way to run a comp (IMHO) that would be so much simpler if they hosted it on an app or FOLLOWED FB RULES and didn't try and make entrants jump through hoops.

It was probably removed (from here) because the original post had mentioned the names of the winner / potential winners, which would have been posted without their permission, even though it's on posted on a public facebook page.0

Strange! The whole thread seems to have vanished (checked my posts section and it's not there now). I checked my browsing history, was it this FB company? https://www.facebook.com/yourbrighterhome/ If so, they appear to have scrubbed all evidence of the competition from their page too! Maybe they also reported the thread (not sure how the report button works here and whether or not it automatically deletes first and asks questions later?).0

Would have edited out if I'd been made awareFeel quite affronted at how badly some companies behave so try to challenge wherever possible. I have broad shoulders
LOL!
My suspicious mind is leaning more towards Your Brighter Homes reporting the thread, particularly as they've removed all evidence of the competition from their page too.Worse things will have happened in the world today..."The only thing that really matters, it to love and to be loved."0 -
Possibly ... but they removed the "Tag a winner" posts because people were having their names posted on here without their permission ... it crosses over with the sharing private information rule apparently.
ie : "Doris Doolappy won a Facebook Competition for a pair of shoes, but Doris Doolappy didn't give her permission for that information to be shared on the forum."
Strange rule but who am I to argue0
