thanks. so yes because my mum told them she was a 20% tax payer when she hasnt been a tax payer for at least 3 years (i dont know why she did!!) theyve taxed her 20% on the 25000.
so this should be a tax rebate hopefully?
thanks for the replys shes goin ring them tomorrow but from your replies i dont think she should have paid the 5000 as for some reason she has told them shes a 20% tax payer when she wont be this year 18\19 or she wasnt last year 17\18 or a few years before0
