Halifax mortgage application

Hi guys
We submitted (via a broker) an application for a Halifax mortgage on Wednesday the 18/4 and the fee for valuation was taken straight away but we have still not heard anything in regards to when the validation will take place. Is this a bad sign? Looking at other peoples posts they seem to be notified when the validation will take place pretty soon after full application was submitted.
Im extra worried as I stupidly only realised 2 weeks ago that I was i was 2 months behind on my next account (march and april) for something like £17 in march and increased to £20 pounds in April. I phoned them up and paid it off and closed the account as soon as I realised! My fault entierly but they still had my address as BFPO abroad so never get statements and emails had gone to my trash.
Other than this my credit history looks good with some small credit accounts such as mobile phone and car loan managed very well. No debt at all for the past 18 months.
However the next worrying factor is that my husband just now has registered on the electoral register and this does not show up yet on the credit history but with the application our broker submitted the paper copy that we got from the local council as proof. As we have spent the past 22 years moving every 18 months -2 years registering with the local electoral register hasnt been high up on the priority list (kicking himself now though!).
Is these two factors a deal breaker?? Im so worried that we will be turned down, especially as the late next payment was so very recent.
We did get a decision in principle from them a few weeks ago for around £417,000 ish and has applied for a mortgage for a £395,000 house with a just over 10% deposit made up from saving and Forces help to buy scheme. We both have steady jobs with each of us having an annual income of £45K (combined 90K) and our regular monthly outgoings of about £300 (not including food etc)
I know im just being inpatient and im sure they will tell us soon enough but this is the most stressed and anxious i have ever been! On the face of it does it look like our circumstances will be a hard sell to Halifax???
Greatful for any input/advice

best is to inform the broker if not already done so, nothing else you can do."It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

Halifax are actually good with Forces people (we are forces) - they seem to 'get it'. They were fab with yes when we bought our previous house a while back. Hopefully they will be fine.“Isn't this enough? Just this world? Just this beautiful, complex

I have also heard that they are good with forces so we thought it be easier to stick with a bank well versed with people that have had 10 plus addresses in the past 20 years in and out of the country as well as the procedures of forces help to buy scheme. Fingers crossed0
