Have you taken into consideration the disability element of working tax credit which is over £3000 pet tear alone?
If you post on the benefits board with more details of how you're calculating things it might help.

Are you concerned about losing long term/permanent entitlement to CB ESA?
If that is the situation, then it's understandable, so the charity/private work suggestion is a good one. Outside the NHS you might also find a job with fewer hours.
I'm not sure how salary sacrifice works in this situation, but could that also be a way to reduce your income in the private sector? (Pension contributions or similar.) I don't think NHS offers salary sacrifice, but it's worth asking.2022. 2% MF challenge. £730/30000 -
Yes, I am concerned about losing my permanent entitlement to ESA as many of the jobs that I am applying for are fixed term and funding dependent. The competition for roles is also very fierce.
