Clydesdale mortgage application

Hello all,
I hoping to get some advice on a mortgage application with Clydesdale bank. I am a first time buyer and have application for a 95% mortgage, which is taking a little longer than I would of hoped (5 weeks). I have used a broker for the mortgage application. My credit rating is 948 in Experian, although just over four years ago I have some late payments on a mobile contact. The broker has informed me that I should not have a problem but now getting a little concerned that I may not be accepted for the mortgage.

I have also been waiting for a decision for around the same time - someone mentioned that its just been the two week easter holidays so probably have a backlog - Im hoping to get a decision this week or next - the industry standard I believe is no more than 8 weeks if that helps.0

Hello we are also dealing with Clydesdale via broker. We heard tbf day before valuation that our mortgage offer was accepted subject to satisfactory report. One week later our broker text that full offer was given and should be in the post within 48 hours. We are FTB with 95% LTV too. Good luck!0

I submitted application through broker who took all documentation before the alllication submitted (Friday 27th April) I already knew it was going straight to underwriter as the broker had liased whether they will accept a five year default - which they have stated in paperwork they will. Broker today said income has been signed off as fine when I asked about affordability checks. The valuation is tomorrow . Does anybody know any other checks that will still happen re my docs , debt etc? They!!!8217;ve had everything off me and my broker picked it apart and asked questions last week to ensure all things were covered. I signed direct debit form and declaration on Friday evening. Should I expect a text message or phone call ?0
