If the software is legitimate, £150.

Yup... £150 sounds about right... maybe a touch more if it's a decent monitor.

It has a fairly small hard drive and RAM. Also take age into account. If it's more than 2-3 years old I would offer more like £100 for it.

  • I would think about £150 although you could do with getting some extra ram
Bug? That's not a bug, that's an undocumented feature.
  • Hi-
I'd say less, 70-80 quid, but if its in v good condition and the software is legit then maybe more. It must be pretty old to have a 40GB hard drive. Actually, the cpu speed seems oddly fast considering the rest of the spec? maybe I am forgetting how things were a few years ago -- or, its a spare hard disk put into a newer machine.

You'll get way more than £70-80 for it!

I put my Dad's old computer in the local paper last week; Pentium II 500Mhz, 256MB RAM, 10GB HardDrive, Win XP, DVD Drive and sold it the next day for £40. Had over a dozen calls for it, so it must have been worth it.

Put it in the local rag for £140 and I think you should be able to sell it easily. I wouldn't put it on ebay, as prices there tend to be low for older computer stuff.
