You still might want to enlist help of the good people on www.railforums.co.uk as there are people there that will be able to confirm the actual times of departure of your trains. You will then have good ammunition to fire at GWR.

Just posted on there now, all the info I can get the better. Have drafted a reply to their complains email, but will hold fire for now.

Thanks for your help, appreciate it, hopefully I'll have some joy soon. Thing is, it's not even so much about the money, it's the principle of them having policies written publically then go against them when it matters. It could make a huge difference to someone, so the more people challenge it (if they are in the right to), the better.

So emailed their complaints department and they have agreed to send a 2nd cheque for the other half of the fare (although haven't even had the first one yet). The reason being was only 1 photo of a ticket went through to them apparently, they didn't say that in the original emails though.
