Pay problems at my previous job

I’m not sure how to word this, but on Monday as of this week my last payslip was ready to view, because I left my job.

It was £410, and now it is £236 when I viewed it today which is a considerable drop. Would anyone have any advice? Maybe it’s because I didn’t return my uniform? (I worked in retail).

Assume you're saying that you CAN'T see your payslip...?

There are a number of possibilities and unless you have a very expensive uniform, the most likely options are probably that you'd taken more than your pro-rata holiday entitlement and they've deducted the difference, or that they've recovered costs for training.

You should find that they'll post or e-mail your last payslip to you and this will explain all.
  • Un-submitted hours?

As for returning uniform, that isn't a worry, held on to mine for a few months from last year and now a 'permanent' job has popped up in another location, so would be cool if I got an interview as I could return ? Feel pretty sick but that's one way to hand the old uniform back I suppose!
