If memory serves, when other threads disappear it was someone being a bit brutal with the spam button - the fence may have been hacked....

It had gone when I came back online last night Floss .

I'm wondering if we're allowed a pop up temporary thread while waiting for it's return . Monica's Temporary Hetas Fencing is a great title if a bit confusing .

Oh, I love it. Always longed to be a Monica, Fuddle its like going back in time to when you first met an auto-correct bossy phone. We had so much fun.

I keep hoping that this will be like the Simple Life thread and it will all magically reappear. What I don't understand is why this has all started happening. We all carried on for years without any problems at all and suddenly all this mayhem breaks out.

In the meantime I'm having withdrawal symptoms. And there is a tin of biscuits in the kitchen already to offer me comfort.

I think we're best chatting here while we see if they bring the thread back Monica The problem with sudden new threads is the links are lost to all the previous versions . I think Nuatha was the last OP to add the links back . I've pointed so many people to the tough threads .

Long before I started posting I read back through them all . Workhouse and the rest . There's a lot of interesting stuff over the years . I'm looking forward to fuds trying to tame her phone , should be interesting .

Meanwhile Monica has reminded me of the endless repeats of Friends my daughters watched over the years . If you're Monica I want to be the dizzy hippy , I was born for that role .

I see you've pinched the expression oft used in this house for today's thought . Taught to us by a Polish friend and does help sort the important from the not worth bothering .

I've been reading the advice from Zippy at the start of this thread so have just posted on Site Feedback to explain the problem . Here's hoping our lovely old fence will come back at some point .
It wasn't showing as locked but invalid . So it seems to be a glitch . A Simpler Life came back after a few days so we'll keep the faith .
We are the Toughies after all .
