Hi I am hoping to get sky plus installed - can you please tell me if I need a BT landline?. I was with BT years ago but then got NTL.
Will I have to pay to reconnect to BT? I am assuming I cannot use my NTL phone line for sky?
Thanks:o

All Sky require for Sky Plus is a telephone line, NTL will do fine. You only need a BT line if you're taking Sky BroadbandNorn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

However if you are changing to Sky TV you may want to consider getting Broadban and sky talk as well. Broadband free if you subscribe to sky tv and you also get free evening and weekend calls. You would have to revert back to BT line but I did it recently and they didnt charge for reconnection.0

You only need the phone line when the engineer is installing and when you want to order movies etc, other that that you don't need the line connected.0
