Funding to do a MSc - CDL / bank loans

I used to be a regular on here a few years back but got busy and didn't need money advice any longer
I lost all my post history but managed to secure the same name.
I am in the process of looking for funding to do a MSc, ideally this would be in the EU, but I cannot find funding. The erasmus masters plus which would have been ideal for me has been suspended and it looks quite likely that they won't be accepting applications anytime soon. I am also not entitled to a dutch student loan due to my age.
I have done quite a bit of research into a Career Development loan but due to having worked abroad (outside the EU, returned August 2017), I am again ineligible according to the website.
I wondered whether anyone else had any other experiences of co-op bank (who supply the loan) having made an exception, I am a UK resident, who lived in the UK for 31 years prior to travelling abroad to teach English and I worked full time. Or what about having received a standard bank loan via another bank to cover academic / living costs whilst studying.
What concerns me is that I would expect with a bank loan I will have to start paying it back immediately and since I already know it may be difficult for me to find work / maintain an income this may be impossible.
This seems to apply whether I wish to do the course in the UK or abroad - it's just unbelievable that in order to get a LOAN, they're allowed to dictate this!
Thank you for any assistance.

Re-read the post: The issue I have is that they require you to have lived in the UK for three year directly prior to receiving the funds. I have lived in the UK for 31 years prior to going abroad to work, and as they say am "ordinarily resident in the UK" again - this is what I have an issue with? It seems royally unfair that a foreign student is entitled to come here to the UK and claim a student loan, yet I, a British citizen who wishes to work in the UK / EU in the future, cannot.Have you looked at the funding on the uni you want to go to website
Yes, it's not looking good as I am not an "outstanding" student - i.e have a first class in my UG, do not come from a deprived third world country or have phenomenal potential.0
