Hi,
I was just wondering how many of you have changed mortgage lender in your bid to become mortgage free? I was looking into it but I’m not sure if it’s worth it for us due to fees.

Wait until your fixed rate deal expires then there will not be any exit fees. Then you can use the best buy mortgage comparison tool on MSE and that will give you the best rate. You can even use this tool to see if the money you save (if at all now with interest rates going up) will make you better off switching now by paying the fees and taking the lower monthly rateMortgage When Started Over Pay 01/11/2017- £146,500
Current Total - 10/02/2022 - £6,500 (With Offset
£10k Savings)
5 year fix
