Apply for a 24 hour job if that suits better.

You're working an extra day but less hours per day. Nothing is unfair about that.

    Here was the original post:
Hello, I have a question. My employment contract is 25hrs over 5 days. This is a contract I signed a few months ago. I see now the company is offering 24hr contracts over 4 days. So basically I am working an extra day for 4hrs more per month. Is this considered unfair or anything as this 24hr contract wasn't offered to me at all.

    All help appreciated.

No, you are still working 25 hours. Others are working 24 hours. You haven't mentioned what rate of pay either of the contracts are for. Assuming they are they same your pension will be bigger when you retire.

Depending on your shift pattern you are working 1 hour less per day than your new colleagues, but you have 1 days extra commuting & sundry costs. If this is what is making you unhappy, have you thought about applying for the 24 hour contract?

I assume you are not our resident returning dilema AI/ Bot but based on your deleted post and angry replies I could be wrong.
