Question re: Brighthouse and returning item

Hi folks,

looking for some help re brighthouse.

My mum recently took out an agreement with brighthouse for a laptop. Having found out I explained to her about how much she is actually paying to Brighthouse compared to buying it outright elsewhere.

She says she was told that she can return it at any time and she would not have to pay any more, but I have a had a quick look at the agreement she signed but I cant find anything that says that.

The BH website says:

Can I return a product if I change my mind?
Yes, if you change your mind about a product you can simply return it. Your weekly repayments will cease if you return the product and it’s in a satisfactory condition.

This seems rather vague, can anyone give me any info on the actual stance of returning items to brighthouse.

From what I can gather you can return the item in the same condition it was purchased, and you will not be liable for any more payments.

However anything paid to date, will not be refunded.
