Hi,
Currently remortgaging - wondering what length I should be going for. I will retire in 23 years (but my wife will have 39 years) should I be aiming for that date and get a deal over 23 years? I guess it doesn't matter that much as I'll be going for a 5 year fixed deal and will rearrange over that. To be honest the lower repayments would be handy as we're a bit stretched at the moment.
Thoughts?
