Mortgage affordability question for FTB?

Hello,
I'm hoping to buy my first flat later this year and have been checking mortgage calculators to get a more accurate idea of my price range (and whether it's actually possible for me to buy), but I'm a bit stumped by the monthly commitments section.
What do I put in here if these things will change when I'm actually paying the mortgage and living in a different area? For example, my travel costs for work are high at the moment, but will nearly halve when I move to where I'm planning.
I know this is something to be discussed with a broker when I'm actually in a position to look, but I'd like an idea before then if I can.
Thanks

Put in what they will be.
You might get asked why there is a difference and you just explain why. The underwriter can then put in your current address and new address on google maps if needed to check what you are saying looks realistic.
