:wave: Ummm.
Well mostly today I have been wallpaper stripping.
There are multiple layers going back to what I think might be the original brown flowery lacquered to the wall Victorian layer and encompassing most (ugly) wallpaper fashions of the C20th after that.
:rotfl:
It's such slow progress that I shudder to think what it would have cost if we'd hired somebody to do it. :eek:
I hung the washing out - for all the good that it did me.
I haven't put any heating on...
I wrote to the council about how come I'm not on the electoral roll all of a sudden - which will be affecting my credit rating won't it?
I waded through loads of info about mortgages. I'm not sure that ours is the best deal we could get and I'm weighing up the pros and cons of switching. (Where's the icon for brainache?
)
I had the shopping dictated by the next two weeks meal plans delivered - so no extras! (but none of the codes from The Tesco Thread would work so that was a bummer.
)
I've also checked in with all the Mystery shopper sites and bagged a couple.
I checked banking online and made a small extra CC payment, cos I could.
I've had an NSD. :j
and.......I can't quite believe I'm saying this, but I am seriously considering stopping going to my expensive hairdresser, having a more simple cut at a cheapie hairdressers and letting my grey be out and proud.

This is a massive thing for me, and I don't know where it's come from. I've just been thinking about it all day while I've been scraping wallpaper off by the inch!
So, a bit of a day for me then!

Jacks xxx have you tried your local hairdressing college where cuts are usually free and colours are only charged at cost. I am a qualified hairdresser and we were always very well supervised when training and quite often the boss used the models to demonstrate how to do it to the pupils on.
If you are nervous ask for a second year trainee as they really pretty damn good by then.
All the best SM0 -
:T Cheers swampmonster!
You had me at "Free" the colour at cost part was the icing on the cake.

We've got a training college in the next town so I'll have to look into that. (I'll definitely ask for a second year! :eek: Thanks for the tip. )
