As the title says, im hosting my first christmas dinner and I want everything to be perfect, im having crackers but I would also like to get everyone a little surprise table gift. Ive looked at silly gadgets on play.com but most are over £5 and with eleven guests it would get too expensive. Im looking for something fun to open for around £3 a piece. Any ideas would be fantastic Cheers x
I hope that my child, looking back on today
Will remember a mother who had time to play;
Because children grow up while you're not looking,
There are years ahead for cleaning and cooking.
So, quiet now cobwebs, dust go to sleep.
I'm nursing my baby, and babies don't keep.

Have you tried looking on the Hawkin's Bazaar website? They have loads of fun items in the 'stocking fillers' section for under £3...;)0

I'm in the same predicament we have 15 for dinner, 3 teenage nephews, and want to buy small gifts for the table as well as usual presies. I want to make this a really special christmas.Nothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

Hi I was in my local Asda today and they have started to get BITS in for S/fillers. I bought an Optican Illusion jigsaw in a nice tin for £3. I also got a balloon modelling kit for £3 and they had a few joke ideas, pub quiz cards, nice wooden solitaire, polishing kit for a bald head, soap for face and b*m, sparkley stuff for little girls. Good LuckNothing Changes if Nothing Changes0

Hi Jay-Jay
I'm having 10 over for dinner and everyone is getting either a scratch card or a lottery ticket. Haven't decided which yet. :rolleyes: A scratch card I think as it's instant. I think that will be fun!0
