Referrer control - Firefox

Morning
Has anyone that used referer control (green logo) on Firefox before the update last year managed to find a decent replacement yet please? I know that and ref control became incompatible with the new version but I'm kind of hoping that may have been rectified now and somebody more techie could point me in the right direction.

I don't use it but I had a look at the plugin page on Firefox and it says it was updated last month?
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/referercontrol/
So, maybe they've updated it to work in the newer version of Firefox?
Dunno what version Firefox is up to but here's the update (to the extension):
Version 1.31
Released March 10, 2018 83.4 KiB
Works with Firefox for Android 52.0 and later, Firefox 52.0 and later0 -
Thanks for your help SJ. I'll take a look at that
It's added ok but no idea what I should set it to. The last one I had set to Target domain after advice here but that doesn't seem to be an option
any help would be appreciated0 -
Checked the support (not sure if this is what you want?):
"Is there a way to send sites their own domain as a referrer, like you can with the old Refcontrol? There it's called "root of this site", and I use it as my default setting for non-whitelisted sites. Simply refusing to send anything is more likely to cause breakage.
Yes. Choose the "Custom" referrer setting and then "referer host".0 -
Brilliant, thanks for your help SJ0
