Just had a reply about my complaint about a complaint and they sent me a hyperlink to move to the next stage. The link does not work.

Use OpenOffice and no they don't work. Why can they not produce the figures? Hardly onerous given the work that goes into producing the basic pension figures.

Try Google sheets - I've just noticed that it allows you to see the hidden data in the CS pension spreadsheets.

Phew,. it's not just me then.  In early August 2019, I applied to CSP for early payment of my preserved pension benefits and I have only just received a quotation.  I am treating it as a first draft since, as far as I am concerned, it is not yet complete.  CSP as an organisation, and civil service pensions administration as a whole, is a shambles.  I recognise just about all the difficulties and issues described in this thread (and in the NAO's report in Feb 16) and it is an immense relief to know that I am not alone.  It has been a bureaucratic nightmare thus far but I think that the light is appearing at the end of the tunnel.  Thank you for your contributions to this thread and I hope that you have managed to resolve your own problems with CSP to your satisfaction.
  • Well, further to my earlier posts my problem is still ongoing. My overpayment increased yet again because they realised they had also used incorrect figures to work out the lump sum I received when I took partial retirement. I have gone down the formal complaint route and they have offered me compensation both from my employer (HMRC) and MyCSP because of the way I have been treated (basically they have ignored my correspondence and queries which has led to the situation taking so long to resolve).  They said this will be used to reduce the overpayment. This takes me back roughly to the figure they originally said I owe them. I am continuing with the next stage of complaint but doubt I will get any further with this.

I am now in their complaints system. 3 years down the line. They continue to have a resting blind hoofed ruminant.

Blimey, this doesn't bode well at all!
