pension

Options
Hi i read in martins money tips(10/10/07) that women in there 60's can get a full pension if they have not paid in enough by paying a few hundred pounds to pension people, but you don't actually pay it they take it outta the back pay.
Well reason i am querying this is does anybody know if my mother, now 70 can apply for this and how, as she was asked to pay the extra money many tears ago but declined at the time. I would be very grateful to anybody who can give me any information on how and if my mother could claim back.
Thank you to all who reply.

There are time limits on how far back you can claim, so not sure if this will be possible, I'm no expert in this area I'm afraid.
I have worked for 5 years as a Pension Administrator and then a further year in a non-administrator pension role. I am not (and never have been) an adviser. Do not take anything I say as advice, it is information given on the best of my knowledge.
