Carers allowance £20 week self employed earnings after the expenses

Somebody on carers allowance can earn upto £20 per week without it affecting their payments?
My question is if you start self employment on top of being a full time carer, if you earn more than £20 but after expenses your total profit is £20 or less, would his be ok?

Nothing has been fixed since 2008, it was just pushed into the future
