I am still waiting to hear anything from The AA Loans department as to the status of my application. I made my initial application on the 29th July and I have NO communication from them in any way shape or form about anything at all!!!
I want to make it clear to people that The AA Loans have not attempted to communicate with me at all!! If you want to know anything you have to contact them it seems!!
Discussing company!!
Your feedback is welcome insomuch as it helps others avoid your poor experience... but instead of pursuing the situation, take your business elsewhere.
I everyone did that there would be no AA financial services and we would all be better off as a result... given that anyone who thinks that leveraging a vehicle recovery service's questionable brand value into a financial services vertical is a good idea shouldn't be reward in any way at all, in fact, quite the reverse should be the case. The views expressed here are my own. I am not a Solicitor nor am I affiliated with any of the parties I mention. If you disagree with any of my comments please say in whatever way feels most natural to you. No one self improves in a bubble!0 -
I have been looking at the recommended providers for loans for me on the MSE club loan checked and the AA is the top one. I'm very grateful I have seen this before applying, the next best option is santander (which is my bank)0

I'm panicking now as I applied today, signed my loan agreement online and got an email from them quoting my rate and stating it should be in my account in 2 working days. I applied for the maximum loan to top up the cash from the sale of my house in order to cash buy my next home and time is really pressing with this. Really hoping I hear something soon, reading everyone's experience is making me somewhat flap !!.0

You do know using a loan to buy a property is frowned upon ?
By the lenders that is. Im sure if you read the t&cs it will say it shouldn't be done.0 -

I applied Monday night and eagerly awaiting as my wedding hold runs out in 7 days!Hoping to receive the money by today or tomorrow after digitally signing and receiving the “2 working days” email.Has anyone else had an upshot on the bad experiences? Did you ever get the money?0

Did you ever get the money? This thread is a year and a half old, I wouldn't expect too much in the way of updates other than those that have already been provided.I may as well add, before anyone else does - taking a loan to pay for a wedding is highly discouraged. That's not meant to be "preaching", just sensible money-saving - which is what this forum is all about :-)But I hope it all works out for you, and I hope you have a wonderful wedding day.
