Are you saying you have accounts up until 2015 and then can get an accountants reference for anything more recent?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. The situation is quite simple.
If you are self employed you should be doing tax returns.
A Lender will want to to see a tax return for 2017 as a minimum.
This can not be substituted for an Accountants reference.I am a Mortgage Broker

I agree with AMN.
I am sure there is a valid reason for it (although I can not think of any off the top of my head), but there is no chance I would submit this without the latest SA302, tax overview and a written explanation as to why nothing has been filed for 2 years from you. If this gets pulled for audit, the broker is risking their business and livelihood.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
