Using real name?

Hey guys!
First time comper here; just wanted to run this past you as I've searched here but cannot find an answer; do you need to use your real name when entering competitions? I've made an email account with a name variation and have kept doing this for the handful of entries I've done so far, but just wondering if I'd be denied any potential wins on basis that I'm not using my real name on the forms?
Thanks,
Alex

I don't think the email variation would matter but when it came to prizes you needed to provide id for/collect from Post Office/holidays or cheques you may have a problem if you used a variation of your name.0

I'm not sure why you're concerned about using your real name, tbh. Been using mine to enter comps for a few years and not had an issue. Although I do use an amended date of birth. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.
Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.0 -
for your email it doesn't matter but I would avoid something like luckycomper@hot****. com. For your details though you need to use your real name or you could run into problems claiming prizes. Some compers will use a variation like Kat instead of Kate so they know the mail has come via a competion. You could also use a middle initial if that suits.total wins 2013 £5500 2014 £7500 2015 £23,900 2016 £10,650 2017 £13,040 2018 £10,620 2019 £10,115 2020 £3970.00
