Mortgage offer with name issue.

Good morning everyone, this is my first post on the forum.

I have a mortgage offer with Lloyds and solicitor call me to say that my name on the mortgage offer it’s swapped with the middle name . It’s this a big issue ?? if the full name it’s there and correct spelling . Ex: surname : Ronaldo name : Paul John
And the mortgage offer came with John Paul Ronaldo .
Someone else had this problem ?

Monday I will speak again with the solicitor to see if I have to amend the mortgage offer .

It will need amending and your solicitor should be able to request this.

It's a simple administration exercise.


It is important for names to be accurate on applications as errors can affect credit scoring. A transposition of first names is unlikely to affect your score materially.
